Business Aspect was engaged by a government department to facilitate the selection of a supplier of telecommunications services. The government had established a panel of providers and the department had undertaken a process to re-visit their requirements prior to a review of panel offerings, and a selection process.
Specifically Business Aspect was engaged to advise around the following areas:
- The department’s telecommunications requirements – encompassing 1000+ locations across the state. This included a full assessment of the existing network and the development of a clear understanding of the associated communications service requirements
- The pros and cons of existing arrangements
- A review of panel offerings, with a focus on major providers
- The selection of the optimal solution or set of solutions for the department
