Case Study: Project Management and Governance Services
Business Aspect was engaged by this organisation to contribute to the planning and execution of a range of project initiatives, including moving a global data centre from America to the Asia Pacific Region. This project involved migration of the organisation's Global Data Centre from the primary and disaster recovery sites in America to a new primary site and disaster recovery site in separate major cities in Australia.
Business Aspect played a key role in the start-up, initiation, control, direction and closure of multiple streams of work on the overall programme including: network, security, service management, application migration, reporting, billing and governance streams. All streams involved significant consultation across the different regions within which the organisation operates (America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific) and were delivered successfully with a global partner.
The successful completion of such initiatives resulted in Business Aspect being engaged in additional areas including:
integration planning for the deployment of WAN Optimisation technology to a number of sites globally
service management process design and implementation in relation to deployment of a new Citrix solution for use by an external provider that supports the company.
