The Bank of Queensland (BOQ) and its technology partner HP have been awarded the Best Outsourcing Project (Existing Bank) award for 2015 in the Asian Banking Awards.
The bank’s end user computing project provided a standardised platform that supports all lines of business within the group.
The project resulted in significant operational benefits lowering costs and improving efficiency and growth.
Business Aspect senior consultant, Wayne Tucker is the Program Manager within the BOQ and HP team and according to Wayne, it has been very satisfying to see the change that has taken place, seeing staff “staying connected” through the tools and services now available and the improved work life.
The Asian Banking Award ceremony was held in conjunction with the prestigious award winning Asian Banker Summit 2015. The Summit is the foremost annual meeting for decision makers in the financial services industry in the Asia Pacific region, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre during April.
