Case Study: Client Management Systems Strategy

Business Aspect was engaged to develop a renewed approach to the way this stockbroking firm managed their client-base. The work required:

  • significant analysis of business processes
  • examination of existing requirements, and development and documentation of new requirements
  • preparation of a gap analysis that assessed the new requirements in relation to existing system architecture
  • investigation of technologies and services to formulate a solution for meeting the identified gaps and requirements

The outcomes of the project demonstrated Business Aspect’s ability to link a highly complex web of strategic requirements with pragmatic outcomes to provide the business with a framework for future success. Key outputs of the project included:

  • a solutions and options matrix that included an impact, issues and risk assessment
  • an estimate of costing, based on quotations for components supplied by 3rd party vendors
  • preparation of a high level migration plan and schedules based on an agreed architectural solution
