We are pleased to announce that the Business Aspect successfully implemented a cloud based ERP solution to transform WaterNSW business.

The solution included:

  • Business Transformation activities to transition WaterNSW to a single set of systems and processes following the merger of their 3 previous water agencies.
  • Deployment of the APQC (American Productivity and Quality Centre) framework, which provided a common language model  for business process
  • Implementation of a Dynamics 365 Oriented system solution covering finance, procurement, enterprise asset management, HR and CRM capabilities.

We congratulate the core Business Aspect team, James Creighton (Program Manager), Deborah-Ann Allan (Change Manager), Simone Stickles (Project Office) and Delene Tabone (Business Analysis).
Microsoft have developed a case study on the implementation, which we recommend reading. To read it, please click here.

“Working with WaterNSW, our team, led by program manager, James Creighton, took a best practice approach to matching business requirements with the technology solution allowing us to deploy a platform that not only meets the organisation’s needs today – but has a clear runway to the future.”

In the Microsoft Case study, the Managing Partner of Business Aspect, explains that taking a rigorous approach was fundamental to the success of the transformation:

“The APQC framework allowed us to analyse each process in great detail and then use that insight to translate those processes into system functions and data requirements. This along with our deep understanding of, and experience with, Dynamics 365 allowed us to help craft a solution that dovetailed with WaterNSW’s operational requirements,”
