Case Study: Spatial Information System Capability

This department has two key applications which together provide the ability for staff and external service providers (conveyancers and land developers) with information that supports the administration and management of land within the state. One application is a viewer; the other is an enquiry application.

Business Aspect was engaged to document a system architecture overview to identify key interfaces and linkages to various departmental systems and provide a high level view of the systems that need to be built or varied to support an upgrade of the viewer application. The project required significant stakeholder engagement and examination and analysis of existing documentation.

Business Aspect successfully completed the required deliverables, providing a sound foundation for the department to move forward with the development and upgrade of the viewer application.
