Something I said I’d never do but did anyway...
Having lived most of my life in Staines-upon-Thames, a suburban town just outside of London, I always believed that I couldn’t live too far away from friends and family. No-one, least of all me, ever expected that I would move to other side of the world!

The last concert I went to was…
A Day on the Green at Sirromet Winery - a superb introduction to some great Australian bands.

It’s Sunday morning at 10am, if I’m not sleeping I’m…
I’m never sleeping at 10am. I would hopefully be having a quiet coffee and relaxing on the terrace.

The book currently on my bedside table is…
Unfinished as I keep getting distracted and have to go back to the beginning. I like to read crime fiction and my current book is the second in the Jeffery Archer Clifton Chronicles, The Sins of the Father.

The best advice I’ve ever been given …
My father in-law told me on my wedding day, “If you don’t want to do a particular task make a real hash of it the first time, and you’ll never get asked again.” He hung wall paper upside down on his first go and was never asked to hang wall paper again.

The worst advice I’ve ever been given …
“Good things come to those who wait.” I found out very quickly that if you wait, the world will pass you by. You have to go out there, let everyone know what you want, and grab every opportunity to grow.
