Andrew Clark

Andrew has held a range of executive finance positions and has over 20 years’ of experience in providing assurance, financial management, consulting, governance and risk management services in both the private and public sectors. Industry sectors in which he has worked and provided advice include aviation, healthcare, education, information technology, defence, treasury, viticulture, mining, not for profit and financial services (credit unions and superannuation).

Most recently Andrew was Chief Financial Officer with Airservices Australia, providing financial strategic management for one of the world’s leading air traffic control and fire rescue providers during a period of much industry and service delivery change. Responsible for a number of commercial functions within the organisation including pricing, investment analysis, legal, taxation, treasury and business process improvement Andrew drove much change including new pricing approaches, improved service accountability through developed service charters and optimised the cost base through process reform and improved central procurement activity.

During this period of time he was also responsible for leading the organisation, an organisation of 4000 employees, as interim Chief Executive for six months developing and driving a number of key initiatives, including commencing an organisation wide cultural reform program.

Before this Andrew was in charge of the Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting division where he was responsible for leading a group of 800 staff through a period of sector reform and the introduction of service competition.
